My Experience So Far In Zuri Internship Training

I have built products ranging from:
- Point of sales application
- Computer-based testing applications
- Blogs
My career goals aim at combining my technical skills with my passion for adding value to the startup ecosystem.
I want to explore writing and how I can provide value through creating.
I missed a lot of internships and training the last year 2020 due to a lack of focus and a definite WHY on those experiences. Come 2021 I wasn't going to keep being stagnated by my lack of clearly defined goals with routes on how to make the best out of them.

I saw a tweet about an upcoming internship last year by Zuri, as someone who is keen on self-development I followed Zuri's Twitter handle @theZuriTeam keeping tabs on any opportunity that would come.
Before sending in my application I already knew what I wanted from this opportunity. It is an avenue for me to get good and grow as a backend python developer. This means I will be doing anything backend and anything python.

I must commend the organizers' (Zuri and Ingressive For Good) efforts and structure to afford us this opportunity. Leading and managing such a large number of applications and demands requires great effort and they have my thanks and commendations. Such remote opportunities don't come like the dawn in my country Nigeria.
I hope this opportunity by Zuri and Ingressive won't be the last. I can imagine the thousands of opportunities they would be creating with each year of making this training happen.
I have connected with fellows on the Slack channel, which is a refreshing feeling. Interacted with fellow pythonistas who are ardent about building a solution-driven future for themselves and their environment. Godspeed to all Zuri interns, I wish us all a productive experience.
